A little bit about myself

I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Israel after high school in 2011. I served in the Israeli army, married my husband Robbie, and started pursuing medicine. I decided this was not the right career path for me, and Robbie and I spent three months backpacking in India and Nepal. We moved back to NJ in 2018, where I completed my associate’s degree in Health Science and received my EMT license. Robbie and I moved to Richmond, Maine in September 2020, knowing that we wanted to start our family here. I got pregnant in December and started hiking the Appalachian Trail in February 2021. I completed one-third of the trail. I gave birth to our first son, Itamar in September 2021. My difficult labor and interest in breastfeeding led me to complete a birth doula training workshop with Birthing Gently in February 2022. Throughout my pregnancy and post-partum period I became very passionate and well-researched on the matters of prenatal nutrition, the various decisions and concerns an expecting parent needs to address about their birth, and how to establish successful breastfeeding. I started attending births and providing postpartum support with Community Doulas, a non-profit organization connecting doulas with clients in need throughout the state of Maine. I attended a postpartum doula training with Hip to Heart in March 2023. In September 2023, I started massage school at DSM in Waldoboro, Maine. I graduated and received my license in July 2024. I gave birth to my second son, Omri, in August 2024. I started my private practice in Farmingdale, where I help clients find peace in their bodies through therapeutic & lymphatic massage. I attended a lymphatic drainage course through Klose Training in November 2024 and obtained certification as a labor doula via ProDoula in December 2024.
